After one week of being available, Miranda Lambert’s new song “Vice” sits atop the Billboard Digital Country Songs chart with 65,000 songs sold; with only three and a half days of being available for purchase before the sales chart closed on Thursday, July 21st.
The new song from the Texas singer/songwriter premiered at Country Radio one week ago (July 18) and yesterday as the Airplay charts closed “Vice” stood as the most added song at Country Radio touting a tally of 109 first week monitored reporting stations spinning the song that NPR describes as being a “sophisticated sucker punch” and USA Today says is “masterfully done”
“Vice” enters the Billboard Country Airplay and Country Aircheck’s Media Base charts at No. 18, beating out her previous record held by “Automatic” from 2014’s Platinum album, debuting at No. 26 and No. 35 respectfully.
“Vice” was co-written by Lambert along with fellow GRAMMY Award-winning songwriters Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne and was produced by Frank Liddell, Glenn Worf and Eric Masse.
