Florida Georgia Line is busy fending off you rumors that they don’t like the cops. According to TMZ, Jones County Sheriff Greg Graver said he was headed backstage Saturday night at the Great Jones County Fair to discuss security protocol with the band when he was stopped by a crew member and told no uniformed officers were allowed backstage, per the band, even going as far as saying the band threatened to pull the concert if any police were spotted.
The band then requested a police escort out of town which they were denied. Wisconsin police reportedly said the same thing at a show a week earlier.
Now the band’s rep is saying it’s all a misunderstanding. The band allows the venue to take care of security so local police are told their help isn’t necessary.
