Craig Campbell made his NBC’S “TODAY” debut yesterday with a passionate performance of his current single, “Outskirts of Heaven.” Wearing his customary cowboy hat, he delivered the soul-stirring lyrics with powerful vocals layered over a traditional country sound. During the segment, Campbell announced his upcoming first-ever USO tour, and that he will participate in the Grand Ole Opry/USO 75th Anniversary concert series. Going from coast to coast, performances include Patrick Air Force Base in Florida on August 7th and Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington on August 9th.
Following 2015’s “Tomorrow Tonight,” Campbell has been in the studio with producer Mickey Jack Cones working on his RED BOW Records’ debut album. Having shared the stage with Randy Houser, Alan Jackson, The Band Perry, Jerrod Niemann and Justin Moore, he is currently touring across the U.S. and will be playing major fairs and festivals throughout the summer.
