American Idol Season 11 winner and multi-platinum seller Phillip Phillips to join previously announced three-time Grammy award winners Zac Brown Band and multi-platinum rock band Train for the Wildcat Kickoff Concert being held on September 10 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
Phillips first rose to fame as the 11th season winner of American Idol, and has since released two albums: 2012’s “The World From the Side of the Moon” and 2014’s “Behind the Light.” Both records were a commercial success with folk pop hits like the 5x platinum smash “Home” and the critically acclaimed “Raging Fire.” The 25-year-old is currently at work on his third studio LP.
The Wildcat Kickoff is the first concert held in the Bill Snyder Family Stadium in nearly 30 years and is the very first event to kick off the 2016 college football season.
