Brett Eldredge hopes that the “sense of community” in Nashville will last forever, according to The Boot.
The country singer has caught a string of luck, just recently scoring his fifth consecutive number one hit with “Drunk on Your Love,” and he seems to think moving to Nashville has something to do with it.
“I moved here in ’06,” Eldredge recently recalled to The Boot and other reporters. “I was going to MTSU, and I would drive back and forth to Nashville to write songs with whoever would write a song with me.”
“It’s so crazy how much of a community this is and how much people get behind you,” Eldredge admits. “I will say this: For the rest of my life, I hope this town never loses that. We can never let this town lose that sense of community. It’s the best place in the world.”
Eldredge is currently serving as the opening act for Keith Urban on his Ripcord World Tour.
