Underneath skies that opened up into a downpour, a dedicated crowd sang along as multi-platinum selling duo, Thompson Square, gave their first-ever performance at the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo. yesterday (7/4), creating a memorable performance for all. The special Fourth of July performance also included Blues Traveler, Uncle Kracker and Sam Palladio.
Last night the duo took the open-air amphiteatre stage that very few have had the privilege to do, “It was truly breathtaking and unlike anywhere we had ever performed. We are so appreciative of the fans that stuck it out in the pouring rain to sing-along with us. It was an experience we will never forget,” said Keifer Thompson of Thompson Square.
The chart-topping Country act joined Grammy award-winning group, Blues Traveler, on stage, lending their vocals on the performance of “Matador,” a track in which the two acts collaborated on for Blues Traveler’s latest project, “Blow Up The Moon.”
Known for being the only naturally-occuring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre stage has been graced by iconic musicians including The Beatles, Sting and U2.
The ACM and CMA award-winning duo recently released “You Make It Look So Good,” which impacted radio on June 13, becoming the third most added song in the U.S. in it’s first week. “You Make It Look So good” is available across all digital retailers and streaming partners now. Download the song HERE.
