Josh Turner is Back with New “Hometown Girl” Single

Josh Turner

Josh Turner releases his new single “Hometown Girl” off his upcoming sixth studio album. “Hometown Girl” will go for official radio adds on Tuesday, May 31, but is available for preview and purchase HERE.

“The first time I heard ‘Hometown Girl’ I was excited,” explains Josh. “First of all, it sounded like a hit to me. It just had that chorus and vibe that held your attention and didn’t lose you. Honestly, it was different for me and that was kind of what I was looking for.”

“Hometown Girl” was written by Marc Beeson and Daniel Tashian, and the song was produced by Kenny Greenberg.

With a rich, deep voice and distinctive style, Turner has sold more than five million albums. As a disciple of traditional country music and a mentor to up-and-coming artists, Josh is one of the youngest members of the Grand Ole Opry.  From his 2003 Platinum-selling debut Long Black Train to his most recent 2012 Billboard No. 1 release Punching Bag, Turner has received six Inspirational Country Music Awards and garnered multiple GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM nominations.  Turner’s hits include “Your Man,” “Time Is Love,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “Firecracker,” “Would You Go with Me” and more.
