The 24th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival Presented by Regions Bank is set for April 5-9, 2016, and a record number of artist/writers will perform at 10 of Nashville’s top venues. The popular Fast Access Passes are sale today at TinPanSouth.com.
No less than 40 artist/writers representing a multitude of genres will take the stage to perform some of the biggest hits they wrote for themselves and for other artists. Country Music Hall of Famers Bill Anderson and Bobby Bare will be joined by Clint Black and Steve Wariner. Country newcomers, Kelsea Ballerini, Mickey Guyton, Kip Moore, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves and others will perform. The First Lady of Rockabilly Wanda Jackson, R&B Pop singer Anderson East and British singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas will entertain at various venues. The full roster of performers is now available at www.TinPanSouth.com.
Fast Access Passes allow patrons to bypass the cover charge at the door and allow advance seating (space permitting.) Quantities are limited, and last year’s passes sold out in record time. Individual tickets will be available at the door of most shows, and prices range from $10-25. Venues this year include 3rd & Lindsley, Blue Bar, The Bluebird Café, Commodore Grille, The Country, Douglas Corner Café, Hard Rock Café Nashville, The Listening Room Café, Station Inn and Whiskey Rhythm Saloon.
Produced by Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), Tin Pan South reigns as the world’s largest all-songwriter festival. Last year close to 350 talented songwriters performed 92 shows at ten of Nashville’s top music venues. Thousands of music fans attend the event annually to hear songwriters tell stories behind hit songs they have written and perform the songs as they were originally composed. Regions Bank returns for the ninth year as the presenting sponsor of the event.
