Charles Kelley will route his first-ever solo album The Driver to Los Angeles this week with today’s performances of the track that “shuffles with a kind of prim swagger” (New York Times), “Lonely Girl,” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. It was also announced that Kelley will team up with Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas for a special installment of CMT Crossroads: Rob Thomas and Charles Kelley set to air this summer.
“One of the best voices in Music City” (Entertainment Weekly) is also gearing up to hit the road for The Driver tour picked up by Enterprise, with special guest Josh Kelley launching April 9th in Washington, D.C. at The Fillmore. Stepping outside of Lady Antebellum, one of the world’s most popular groups, Kelley’s The Driver has already earned a GRAMMY nod for its title-track.
