Luck Reunion is thrilled to announce the lineup for its 2016 festival held at Willie Nelson’s “Luck, TX” on the outskirts of Austin. The daylong event will showcase over 30 artists alongside unique pop-up shops and local food & beverage purveyors. Luck Reunion will take place on Friday, March 18. Tickets are released on a rolling basis via Luck Reunion social media pages, e-mail list, and at www.luckreunion.com.
Luck Reunion gathers a wide-ranging roster of country, rock, folk, and soul acts who join headliner and host Willie Nelson in carrying out the festival’s mission of continuing the American roots music narrative. Artists will be showcased on three stages: the World Headquarters Stage overlooking Nelson’s private “headquarters” hangout; the Revival Tent, a camp meeting-style performance space; and the newly added Chapel Stage, situated in the town’s intimate 40-seat church. The lineup is as follows:
World Headquarters Stage:
Willie Nelson & Family, Jenny Lewis, Lucius, Blitzen Trapper, Doyle Bramhall II, Alberta Cross, John Fullbright, Amasa Hines, Horse Thief, The Black Lillies, and Heaven’s Jail
Billy Joe Shaver, John Moreland, Parker Millsap, Margo Price, Joe Pug, Lissie, Matt Vasquez, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Aaron Lee Tasjan, and Indianola; plus a song swap curated by Heartworn Highways Revisited, the groundbreaking sequel to the iconic music film Heartworn Highways, featuring performances from: Robert Ellis, T. Hardy Morris, Sam Outlaw, Shelly Colvin, Andrew Combs, and Jonny Fritz

“We’ve gone to a lot of shows, had countless scheduling discussions, and made more than a few beer-soaked pitches to our incredibly talented friends,” said event founders Luck Productions. “We could not be more proud to announce the newest additions to the Luck Reunion family”.
The definitive getaway during SXSW, Luck Reunion offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience Nelson’s beloved hill country property that served as the set for his Red Headed Stranger film, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
Between sets, attendees can sip craft cocktails in the Saloon; stop by the Luck General store for official merchandise and unique artisan goods including custom hats, vintage jewelry and clothing; and grab a bite from a variety of Austin’s famous food trucks.
On Thursday, March 17th, the eve of the concert event, Luck will also host an exclusive “Chefs’ Pot Luck” dinner benefitting Wholesome Wave, an organization making fresh, locally grown food available for low-income families. Guests will enjoy a seated multi-course meal prepared by an all-star chef lineup including Wholesome Wave founder Michel Nischan, Dean Fearing, Scott Conant, Michael Chiarello and John Mitchell; followed by intimate starlit performances by Willie Nelson, Aubrie Sellers, and Green River Ordinance.
