Last weekend, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital hosted it’s annual Country Cares Seminar. The event is a way for the hospital and country music to personally connect. To date, country radio has raised $600 million for St. Jude and the children it saves. In addition to radio stations from across the country, country artists flock to the hospital to tour and engage with patients in hopes of brightening their day. Last weekend Charles Kelley, Trace Adkins, Old Dominion, Love and Theft, Justin Moore, Drake White, Brooke Eden and more stopped by to spread some love.
Justin Moore enjoyed time with the kids, and spoke about the impact it had on him as a father.
“I met a four year old little girl who was wearing a princess dress, like my little girls wear,” Justin says. “It becomes a little more personal, and you’re a little bit more genuine with the time you spend with the patients.”
“There’s a lot of great things out there to donate to, and this one is second to none,” Justin says encouraging fans to donate to St. Jude.
