Yesterday, Miranda Lambert joined the likes of Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and more when she received a star on the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville. The singer was all smiles with pal Dierks Bentley who presented the honor to her.
“A little more than 10 years ago I had gotten off Nashville Star – which was what I did instead of college – and I was living in Nashville and I made my first record. I got scared and ran back home to Mama,” she said.
“But I moved back here this year and I have never felt so inspired. This has been my first summer off the road in years, and I wrote every day. I feel more a part of Nashville than I ever have. I feel so at home here and so happy, and I am thrilled to have my name on the Music City Walk of Fame.”
Miranda has certainly made her mark on country music and music city. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
