Lady Antebellum‘s Charles Kelley and his wife Cassie are expecting their first child in February. The couple provided some details about their struggle with fertility with Good Morning America this morning.
“My body doesn’t ovulate regularly [called anovulation], which is problem number one. I also had a blockage in my Fallopian tube, which also happened to be connected to my dominant ovary,” Cassie said. The plan was to start IVF, but to our surprise and incredible excitement, I got pregnant in May and then found out we were expecting in June,” she revealed. “I’m due in February, and we just found out that we’re having a boy.”
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, there’s a bouncing baby Kelley on the way who will join bandmates other bundles of joy Dave Haywood’s son Cash and Hillary Scott’s daughter Eisele. Sounds like they will have just the right mix to pass on the Lady Antebellum name.
Congrats to the happy couple!
