DICK’S Sporting Goods and GRAMMY® Award winner Carrie Underwood announced plans to show the new CALIA by Carrie Underwood line at the brand’s first-ever New York Fashion Week event. The presentation will take place on September 10, 2015 and will be the first activation held at NYFW HQ, the official headquarters for New York Fashion Week and new satellite hub for the wider fashion community.
At the private event, lead designer Carrie Underwood will be present to show off the fitness and lifestyle brands’ first Fall / Winter collection. Guests will experience first-of-its-kind Fashion Week programming and have the opportunity to take home looks directly from the runway, creating a fully immersive and distinctive brand experience.
Created in partnership with Carrie Underwood and DICK’S Sporting Goods, CALIA first launched in March 2015 catering to today’s woman who embraces an active lifestyle and demands more versatility from her wardrobe. With high-quality garments built to support the female body in motion, CALIA incorporates functional details and performance-driven fabrics into sophisticatedly feminine designs. The newest evolution of the line features apparel and accessories in bold, nature-inspired patterns and luxe, technical materials to help women transition both throughout their day and from fall to winter months.
