“Front and Center” filmed brand-new episodes of the CMA Songwriters Series on Monday night at Marathon Music Works in Nashville. Twenty-time CMA Award winner and Country Music icon Ronnie Dunn, reigning CMA New Artist of the Year Brett Eldredge, and CMA Award winner and Grand Ole Opry member Darius Rucker all took the stage as part of the tapings, joined by an arsenal of hit songwriters.
Award-winning songwriter Rucker was joined on stage by an illustrious group of songwriters including Casey Beathard, Nathan Chapman, Chris Dubois, Ashley Gorley, Tim James, Charles Kelley, Clay Mills, Frank Rogers, and Rivers Rutherford.
Dunn, of the legendary CMA Award-winning duo Brooks & Dunn, had a set that featured appearances by songwriters on some of his biggest career hits and the lead single from his forthcoming third solo album Ain’t No Trucks In Texas (Nash Icon Records).
Eldredge performed a high-energy show from his debut album Bring You Back including No. 1 hits “Don’t Ya,” “Beat of the Music,” and “Mean to Me” along with “Lose My Mind” and other songs from his upcoming sophomore album Illinois, out Sept. 11th.
Eldredge and Dunn also performed together for the first time on stage. Collectively their sets included performances with songwriters Ross Copperman, Dallas Davidson, Bob DiPiero, Tom Douglas, Travis Hill, Tommy Lee James, Tony Martin, Wendell Mobley, Heather Morgan, Neil Thrasher, and Craig Wiseman.
