The 29th annual Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament (MRLGT) has announced that Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Chris Young is a title sponsor of this year’s event, to be held on Monday, August 17th at Old Natchez Country Club in Franklin, Tennessee. The MRLGT will once again benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee (UCPMidTN) and is also sponsored by ASCAP, City National Bank, Tim McGraw and more.
“I’ve been part of the tournament for the last several years, caddying when I’m not on the road or sponsoring when I couldn’t be there in person,” Young commented. “I’m glad to support this fun event which helps benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee.”
Chris Young’s career highlights include six #1 songs at country radio, four of which he co-wrote. His current single, “I’m Comin’ Over,” sold over 70K downloads in its first week and was co-written by Young along with Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge. “I’m Comin’ Over” is the platinum-selling artist’s thirteenth single to country radio and the first song to be released off Young’s fifth album for RCA Records Nashville, due out this fall.
Registration for the MRLGT is now open and team space is limited as the event sells out quickly each year. To register, please contact Suzanne Lee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
