Streamsound Records’ rising country star Dakota Bradley was recently named Global Ambassador for the American Red Cross to support their fire mission. This is a position Bradley holds close to his heart due to his personal experience–losing his childhood home to a fire at the age of fifteen. Bradley took to his socials to reveal his personal story of loss to his fans.
This life-changing experience is the inspiration behind Bradley’s passion to partner with the American Red Cross and their fire mission to reduce fire deaths and injuries by 25%. As part of this campaign, he will donate $0.50 for every digital purchase of “Name On It” to the American Red Cross sold between June 23, 2015 and September 30, 2015. Visit HERE to donate.
“Name On It,” is a free-feeling, summer–loving, Yoo-hoo drinking, flirtatious song co-produced by Grammy award-winner Byron Gallimore and Country music superstar Tim McGraw, and written by Nashville’s biggest tunesmiths (Rodney Clawson, David Lee Murphy and Craig Wiseman.)
This song was one of the very first songs Bradley cut while in the studio with McGraw and Gallimore. He explains, “We cut a few songs and then Tim hands me this CD and all it says is ‘Name On It.’ I didn’t know what to think, but three of my favorite hit songwriters wrote it, so I listened to the first verse and chorus and was like, ‘all right, let’s go and record it.’” He continues, “It’s really amazing that this song has a real purpose now. I am honored to serve as Global Ambassador and help raise awareness and funds for the Red Cross and their fire mission. It feels good to give back to those that helped me and my family in our time of need.”
