Last night Kellie Pickler showed up unexpectedly on several doorsteps with a big surprise for the homeowners when “Knock Knock Live” on FOX . The Ryan Seacrest-hosted television series will feature Pickler and other co-hosts including Adrienne Bailon, Jordan “Shorty” Johnson, Chuey Martinez, Ross Mathews, and Tyler Posey, who will travel across the country and go door-to-door to surprise people who were nominated by their family and friends.
Later this week on Sunday, July 26th, Pickler will perform the National Anthem at the “Crown Royal Presents the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard at Indianapolis Motor Speedway,” which will air live on NBC Sports Network beginning at 3:30 PM/ET (2:30 PM/CT). The NASCAR race honors Sergeant Jeff Kyle, who served eight years in the Marines and was deployed multiple times to Iraq and Africa. Pickler met Kyle’s parents earlier this year at CMA Music Festival in Nashville when they presented her with the 2015 Operation Troop Aid Chris Kyle Patriot Award for the acknowledgement for her unwavering and impassioned support and contributions to the United States Armed Forces and their families. The singer/songwriter has been a strong supporter of America’s military men and women and their families, and has performed on eight USO Tours thus far.
In-between work on “Knock Knock Live,” her upcoming CMT reality series “I Love Kellie Pickler,” and her home goods line in cooperation with the Opry Stores, “Selma Drye by Kellie Pickler,” the Black River Entertainment recording artist is also working on her next album. Her first single, “Feeling Tonight,” is currently being heard on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
