This past weekend, tens of thousands of Country music-lovin’, cowboy boot-wearin’ fans descended on Manhattan, Kansas, for the 20th anniversary of Kicker Country Stampede. Throughout the weekend, fans were treated to performances by some of the biggest names and brightest stars in Country music, including superstar and judge on NBC’s The Voice Blake Shelton, award-winning duo Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Travis Tritt, Sara Evans, Jerrod Niemann and many, many more. And that was just on the Cenex® Main Stage! Known for showcasing not only the biggest names of today, but also the biggest names of tomorrow, the festival featured ‘round-the-clock music from multiple stages, including the Nashville Songwriters Association International Songwriter’s Tent and Kite’s Grille & Bar Tuttleville Stage. When attendees weren’t listening to the best Country music has to offer, they were riding a mechanical bull, eating mouth-watering vendor food, shopping, participating in interactive exhibits, competing in a cornhole tournament and much more.
Plans for next year are already well underway, with festival organizers working towards an even bigger and better 2016 Kicker Country Stampede. We have two words for you: Sam. Hunt. One of music’s fastest rising stars, Hunt is bringing his growing list of hits, including “Take Your Time,” “Leave the Night On” and “House Party,” Country swag and chiseled jawline to Manhattan, Kansas, June 23-26, 2016.
