With their highly anticipated new single “White Lightning” recently released to Country radio, THE CADILLAC THREE traveled to New York City for a couple of high profile performances showcasing their diverse talents. Jaren Johnston, Kelby Ray and Neil Mason introduced some of their unique brand of “The South” to a select group of fans, including NASH-FM listeners and industry leaders, on Wednesday night (6/24) at Hill Country. TC3 played their Big Machine Records’ tunes as the rowdy crowd cheered them on and sang along. They dynamic band also debuted their versions of #1 hits for Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Jake Owen that Grammy nominated frontman, Johnston, has penned.
Thursday (6/25), they visited with VEVO executives to share the story behind their new music video for “White Lightning” and offer a private acoustic set. The love song was inspired by the feeling of being immediately “struck” when he fell for his wife Evyn and the video sets the scene of how Johnston penned the tune.
