Clay Walker, along with pals Craig Campbell and Greg Bates, raised more than $12,000 during the fourth annual Chords of Hope benefit concert held at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon on October 30th. The concert was hosted by Clay’s charity Band Against MS (BAMS) and all proceeds were donated to the MS Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center to aid in MS research and awareness.

The nationally syndicated & Hallmark Channel lifestyle television program, The Better Show featured a segment about the event including performance footage and interviews with the artists today. The segment can now be viewed here.

Band Against MS, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3), or not-for-profit, public charity committed to providing educational information for those living with Multiple Sclerosis, funding programs researching a cure for Multiple Sclerosis, and funding programs helping those living with the disease. Clay Walker established BAMS in February 2003 because he wanted to help others living with the same disease he has battled since 1996. To date BAMS, http://www.bandagainstms.org, has raised more than 2 million dollars.
