NBC apparently isn’t taking any chances on Kelly Clarkson not being able to carry a network TV special. The network has added a wide variety of stars to the lineup for “Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale.” Aside from fellow country stars Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood, NBC has added Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg and William Shatner to the mix.
The show is a musical comedy about the meaning of Christmas. In it, Clarkson schemes to land a holiday special to boost her popularity, but ends up learning an important lesson. And as if to make sure the show grabs an audience, other guests on the show include race car drive Danica Patrick, supermodel Heidi Klum and comedian Jay Leno. The show airs December 11 at 10 P.M., Eastern.
