The Professional Bull Riders announced today that country star Justin Moore, whose album “Off the Beaten Path” recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album Chart, will perform for PBR fans at AT&T Stadium on March 1st to open the PBR Iron Cowboy V, a part of the 2014 Built Ford Tough Series.

On the eve of his 57-city Off the Beaten Path Tour, Moore made the announcement via video to PBR fans in Las Vegas, who were gathered at the Thomas & Mack Center to attend the PBR World Finals.

“I hate that I couldn’t be with you guys to celebrate the PBR’s 20th anniversary, but I am so excited to come play the Iron Cowboy PBR event at Cowboys Stadium March 1st,” Moore said.

The concert, which begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m., is included in the purchase of a ticket to Iron Cowboy V. However, fans can purchase up-close-and-personal dirt access for the concert at $25. Tickets for the Iron Cowboy V and dirt access are available at the AT&T Stadium Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745 3000.

“We are thrilled to have Justin Moore play the Iron Cowboy V,” said Sean Gleason, COO of the PBR. “He’s a rare entertainer who appeals to fans across the spectrum with a show that is raw, gritty and true to life – just like the PBR.”

Iron Cowboy V is the only bracket-style event on the BFTS featuring the PBR’s best 24 riders competing head-to-head for a total purse of $150,000. The winner will receive $50,000, and the opportunity to win an additional $50,000 if he can ride a World Champion Bull contender in the bonus round. He could go home with $100,000 for one night of riding!

During this one-night only event the riders will be randomly matched against each other in a bracketed format. The rider with the highest score in each matchup advances to the next level and wins $1,000. If neither rider in a matchup makes a qualified 8-second ride, the rider with the longest riding time will advance. The matchups continue until one cowboy prevails and is declared the “Iron Cowboy.”

The competition starts at 8 p.m. after the Justin Moore concert. Tickets for PBR’s Iron Cowboy V range in price from $20 to $150.

Arlington is the ninth stop in the first half of the 2014 BFTS schedule, and one of only 18 cities to host the series before the PBR takes its summer break in May. For more information, please visit www.pbr.com.
