Billy Currington

Billy Currington plead “No Contest” to to a charge he abused an elderly person in return for a five-year probated sentence. According the SavannahNow.com, Billy made an appearance in Cheatam County court on Friday, taking a deal that would wipe his record clean after a five year probationary period without incident.

Billy is to have no contact with boat captain Charles Harvey Ferrelle or anyone else involved in the case, pay $1000 fine (chump change), and undergo Anger Management courses as part of his sentencing.

Thankfully, Billy has been busy making appearances other than in courtrooms in support of his new single, “Hey Girl.” Check out his ‘Today Show’ performance here.
