Luke Bryan is a country music force to be reckoned with.
Luke Bryan’s album launch week for his fourth studio record Crash My Party just got even better with the news that his second show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena sold-out yesterday morning in less than five minutes. The first show scheduled for October 18 also sold-out in less than five minutes when it went on sale two weeks ago, resulting in the addition of the second concert. The Friday, October 18 show will feature tour mates Florida Georgia Line and Thompson Square and the October 19 show will feature very special guest Dierks Bentley and Cole Swindell.
“I have had the most amazing week launching the new album,” said a thrilled Luke. “The overwhelming response of my fans to this new music and to the ‘Dirt Road Diaries Tour’ has blown me away. We are definitely going to have a party in Nashville in October!”
When Luke learned that fans were camping out overnight around the arena’s box office, he had coffee and donuts sent out for them to enjoy as a thank you for their devotion and support.
Luke’s fourth studio album Crash My Party, produced by Jeff Stevens, hit record stores Tuesday and is anticipated to debut as one of the highest sellers of this year in all genres of music. Earlier this morning, he wrapped a week of album promotion with a “Summer Concert Series” performance on the Today Show in front of a record crowd.
This Sunday Luke’s Crash My Party album cover will be on the hood and bumper of the #2 Miller Lite car driven by Brad Keselowski at the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Michigan International Speedway. Luke will attend the race and drive the pace car, attend the driver meetings and sit in Keselowski’s pit box. The race will be broadcast on ESPN.
Luke’s career now boasts over four million in album sales with seven #1 singles and he is the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year. Luke was named the #1 Artist of 2012 and #1 Male Artist of 2012 by Country Aircheck. Billboard named tailgates & tanlines the #2 Country Album and the #3 Country Artist Album of 2012 and claimed Luke as the #3 Top Country Artist of the Year. Also in 2012, Luke took home 11 music awards, including a record nine wins at the American Country Awards as well as his first American Music Award. This spring, Luke co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards with Blake Shelton and received the coveted Entertainer of the Year award as well as the Vocal Event award with Jason Aldean and Eric Church for “The Only Way I Know.” At the CMT Music Awards in June, Luke won for Collaborative Video of the Year for “The Only Way I Know.”
