The CMA Songwriters Series returns to Joe’s Bar in Chicago for a special night on Aug. 1st at 8:30 PM/CT. Celebrating its ninth remarkable year, the CMA Songwriters Series features special guests Matraca Berg, Kristian Bush, Bobby Pinson, and Bob DiPiero, who will also serve as the evening’s host. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

As one half of Country Music duo Sugarland, Bush has garnered five CMA Vocal Duo of the Year Awards, exceeded sales of more than 22 million units, and garnered eight No. 1 singles. An accomplished producer and songwriter, he is responsible for hits such as “Baby Girl” recorded by Sugarland and “Love or Money,” Bush’s current solo single.

“The thing I love most about the CMA Songwriters Series is watching the audience discover new things about songs they’ve known for years, said Bush. I know I’ve learned more about the songwriting process just by sitting next to the amazing writers in this series. As a bonus, I also love Chicago and Joe’s Bar — I remember the first time I played there and I look forward to playing there again in August, it’s going to be another great night.”

Tickets for the Aug. 1st CMA Songwriters Series at Joe’s Bar are on sale tomorrow for a special early bird price of $15 until July 14. Tickets purchased after July 14 are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. To order tickets, visit CMASongwritersSeries.com, joesbar.com, or call (312) 337-3486 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM/ET. Joe’s Bar is located at 940 W. Weed St. in Chicago. JOE’S IS A 21 AND OLDER VENUE. You must be 21+ to attend all shows and events.
