ABC’s hit show “Nashville” has made a success on the small screen and in the music world with a successful soundtrack and a handful of successful live performances. And, according to Charles Esten (that’s Deacon for all you non “Nashvillians”) a tour is in the “vague stages.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the tour would take place during the show’s summer hiatus and would feature Sam Palladio (Gunnar), Clare Bowen (Scarlett) and Jonathan Jackson (Avery). However, the “big stars” on the show, Connie Britton (Rayna) and Hayden Panettiere (Juliette) would not participate.
“I know a lot of these guys go out every weekend and perform but that’s not what I’m interested in right now,” Britton said. It may have something to do with her recent adoption of a baby boy.
Hayden has completely different reasons not participating. “I would need to get over my stage fright first,” Panettiere told THR. “My stage fright is pretty awful. But as you can see on the show, you never know what the heck is going to happen.”
By the sound of it, the rest of the cast is pretty excited about the possibility. They’ve all been making the rounds at events and even at The Grand Ole Opry, so country music fans are ready to embrace them.
Would you go see a tour without Hayden or Connie? I’ll be honest, I think the rest of the cast are stronger singers so it wouldn’t make a hill-a-beans difference to me.
