Mindy McCready’s family has planned a private funeral service to be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Crossroads Church in Fort Myers, Florida. Burial arrangements have not yet been finalized by the family.
The memorial, being organized by her friends, peers and music community, is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, March 6 at the Cathedral of The Incarnation in Nashville, Tennessee.

As a teenager i would record her songs on tape. I was only 13 years old. She had a great voice now that i think about her songs she was saying that she needed help. We all will miss her..
My brother and I have yet to get over the death of the best person we knew. Mom. We lost her to drugs. We were 8 years old at the time of her death. I understand how Mindys children feel. It will take time but things will get better. God bless.
