I’ve just listened to one of my favorite types of songs – it’s a song about country, jacked up trucks, rockin’ out with Johnny, Hank and Skynard and if that don’t bring back or begin absolutely great memories of wonderful times you just ain’t living country folks!!
The Tobacco Rd Band, fronted by Eric Durrance and including Lex Vance on guitar, Aaron Halford on bass and rhythmic Joe Markham on drums is a dynamic band of four from Tallahassee Florida who are making their mark by opening for Jake Owen and Brantley Gilbert to name a few. Eric co-wrote the song “Eight Seconds” sung by Jake Owen and you have to know that, being a rodeo gal and big fan of Jake Owen, I loved this song!
“That’s Country” adds the distinctive Colt Ford in a body rocking foot tapping rendition of country rapping that makes this song unforgettable. The song’s a hard hitting rowdy moonshine drinking tune with descriptions that turns words into memories and pictures of kickin’ it in the mud and jacked up trucks.
It’s a party song from the beginning throughout to the end. Country is the way it’s been and the way it’s gonna stay – go country, go Tobacco Rd and go Colt Ford! A great song – lots of fun and kickin’ instrumentals and the addition of Colt Ford seals the deal.
Find this fun song at iTunes, watch the boys on YouTube and read all about them at www.tobaccordband.com. Get you some country tonight!!
