Taylor Swift may have trouble giving her heart away to the right person, but she has no problem giving away her money towards worthy causes. Taylor joined Scholastic’s Reach Out and Read program to donate 2,000 books to her hometown hospital. Reading Hospital Child Health Center’s early literacy program which gives each child between the ages of six months to five years a new, developmentally and culturally appropriate book to take home from their visit, officials said. Over time, children can receive up to 10 books for their home library.
Last year, Taylor donated several thousand books to an area Nashville hospital.
