Last night Keith Urban and the rest of the “American Idol” men chatted with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show to discuss their roles on the upcoming season, along with all the lady drama. Oh, and Jay surprises Keith with some old footage of Keith sporting cut-offs and long hair…And a certain photo that Keith took many years ago for a certain female adult magazine.
“There are certain regrets in my career and that is one of them. Let’s just say I’m glad I play guitar and not harmonica,” Keith said blushing.

It has always made me mad at country music that Keith had to resort to things like the Playgirl shoot to get noticed. Country music was not going to accept an Australian singer, but Keith was determined, and he did things he did not want to to get noticed. I am a Keith Urban died hard fan, but not a fan of the narrow minded country music scene. The country music scene is opening its’ box, but it is still a narrow genre. Hooray for Keith Urban!
