Taylor Swift’s Intruder will Not Face Charges

Taylor Swift’s knife-wielding intruder will not face any charges mainly in part because Taylor didn’t have a “No Trespassing” sign posted at her home.

Attorney Sean McKinney has stated that  Tennessee prosecutors decided not to press charges against his client, Jacob Kulke.  McKinney says he spoke with Swift’s representatives on Thursday morning and all parties thought it was best not to press forward with the case.

McKinney added that there are a number of reasons as to why he was able to get the charges dropped. First, Swift did not have a “No Trespassing” signs posted. Also, Kulke was under the impression he was allowed to go onto the property after allegedly being told by the guards at the house that he could do so.

The 24-year-old man was arrested earlier this month after attempting to break into Taylor’s Nashville, Tenn., home. (Swift was not at her residence at the time.)   Prosecutors do have a full year to decide if they want to reopen the case if new evidence or information arises.

Are you serious??? He has the “impression” that he was allowed to go onto her property and attempt to breeak in while carrying a knife….and he is not facing charges??? That is totally ridiculous !!!

  2. Country Girl says:

Totally agree Lee! I think it’s scary. The man has a previous record and is on probation. They are pretending he won’t attempt this again. Ridiculous!

  3. Jeanne says:

I do not have no trespassing signs but I certainly don’t want any strangers especially these with knives hanging outside my house!

Absolutely ridiculous!!! A gross failure of the criminal justice system. The intent of the guy is clearly evident and his diminished mental capacity should be enough to get him institutionalized at minimum. At the very least he has demonstrated an inability to discern between right and wrong and follow normal social constructs and should be removed from the general population so as to protect others. This was against Taylor who thankfully has protection but what’s to keep him from going after an unprotected, average, citizen.

  5. Jenny says:

This is so stupid. What? Is there an open invitation to all weapon carrying persons to walk around on your private property waiting for an opportunity to do something actually illegal. Those security guards should be fired if they let him pass or for giving ANY impression that he was allowed to be on the property. NO TRESPASSING signs should not be required for private property! If it’s not yours, stay out!

About ten years back I noticed an electrical muscle stimulation contraption
for sale in a Self-Care catalog.
