Rolling Stone Magazine touts JB and the Moonshine Band’s latest album Beer For Breakfast amongst its top five picks for “Best Country Albums of 2012.” Released on Average Joes Entertainment earlier this year, the album garnered rave reviews and much attention for the East Texas band when it debuted at #4 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart, sold over 60,000 digital downloads and earned over 2.5 million YouTube views.
Rolling Stone Magazine writes, “…Frontman JB Patterson can really write songs – balancing sentiment with low-key Music Row wit and driven home with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-like chime and crunch.”
“It always feels great when people like our music and appreciate the writing,” states JB Patterson. “But when it’s Rolling Stone Magazine it feels absolutely incredible.”
Beer For Breakfast, produced by JB Patterson and Lex Lipsitz, also soared to No. 7 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Album Chart, No. 31 on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and No. 31 on Billboard’s Independent Albums Chart. The first single and title track of the album reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Texas Regional Radio Report. The second single entitled “No Better Than This,” also reached No. 1 on the Texas Regional Radio Report and the video topped the fan-voted chart on CMT Pure.
Constantly touring, JB and the Moonshine Band are gearing up for a busy 2013 with a new single soon to be released to country radio.
