Taylor Swift’s Acoustic Performance of “I Knew You Were Trouble”

While down under promoting Red, Taylor Swift stopped by the popular radio show Fifi and Jules to perform “I Knew You Were Trouble” in an acoustic set. She sounds fabulous, so take a listen.

OMG–she sounds as terrible as usual. We are college kids and we like a GOOD vocalist—and one that does not use us country fans to get to pop. We used to be fans when she first started with Teardrops and Tim McGraw but we learned that she can not sing when we went to 2 of her concerts. Her vocals are so weak and all over the place. She is so immature in dissing boys in her songs. We wish one of them would write a negative song about her. We all bet that she would be angry and not be able to take the criticism at all. The song Mean dissed the journalist that said she was not a good vocalist—and he was telling the truth. Taylor bullied him back with Mean calling him pathetic, mean, etc.. NOT a good example for young kids at all in our opinion. A group of us listened to her new album and it is POP. How much longer is the country industry and Taylor and her label going to insist she is country? WE know better!!!!!

We just heard on campus that Taylor’s Never Getting Back Together beat Connie Smith’s record time at the top of the chart. We feel it is a sad day when a POP song beats a true COUNTRY song for a record. It seems Billboard made up the new chart just for Taylor and NOW SHE BEATS CONNIE SMITH’S RECORD. We also heard that she will be doing a 3 day stint in Nashville next year—what is she trying to do–get back into the good graces of country fans??? She has lost a lot of fans here and we are very tired of her winning country awards just because she is calling herself country. We are tired of Miranda and Blake winning every year also (and Kelly Clarkson a nominee for female country vocalist?REALLY??) . The back door politics smell to the sky in Nashville and we are tired of it. We are all hoping for some changes soon.

Well guess what…nobody cares! We have our own opinions! I love Taylor Swift…she inspires me. I want to be just like her. I’m only 12. You are killing her spirits and mine…you’re just hatin. So, stop breaking her heart and come at me if you want to. I don’t really care. So, suck it up and relize nobody cares what you say, or how you say it. I love Taylor and there is plenty of people out there on my side. Just back off and get a life….I mean really…..

BTW,I’m on here for a project and this conversation is going on it because I’m talking about how people hate on her and bully her….whoever says anything about her bad…just doesn’t have anything better to do. They feel crappy about themselves and need someone to pick on. Alright, I’m done here….

PLEASE—-you need to work on your diction and grammar. Seems you are the one who needs to do something with your life—like work hard in school. My friends and I are younger than Taylor and we do NOT act like her at all. We have matured and she is still stuck at 15 or 16, even though she is 23 years old today, and she is still dissing her ex boyfriends–which are many. My friends and I are also in college to make a better life for ourselves as nurses, teachers, business managers, doctor assistants, etc.. What are you doing with your life other than going all over the net arguing with people because they have an opinion and may not like Taylor as you do? Big news—not everyone likes her or her vocals (music). It is the same melody and lyrics in all her songs. BORING…
