Scotty McCreery has a new record, but not the usual kind for a country musician. He’s made it into the 2013 Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest male artist to ever enter the U.S. albums charts at the No. 1 spot.
McCreery released his debut album, “Clear as Day,” shortly after being named “American Idol’s” 2011 winner. It went on to be an instant hit. McCreery is currently balancing his music career with studying at North Carolina State University, where he’s a freshman.
