On June 2nd Sugarland hit the stage at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. The show was awesome and included openers Canaan Smith and Lauren Alaina. We all know Jennifer Nettles can S-I-N-G, but did you know the girl could rap too?? Well she CAN!! The tour is called “In Your Hands,” the hands being that of the fans….and they mean it! During the show Jennifer reads the signs fans have brought with song requests on them and they honor as many as they can. Of course we heard “All I Want to Do,” “Stay” and many other well loved Sugarland hits, but one fan requested something a little off the country radar….Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby!” Jennifer honored the request and the crowd went crazy for her awesome rapping skills! She even busted out a little running man for good measure!! She concluded by saying that they were just crazy enough to do it!! Check it out…it is guaranteed to make you smile.
