The Pistol Annies Are Hitting the Road This Summer

Pistol Annies at Hunger Games Premier

The Pistol Annies were everywhere…and then, suddenly they weren’t. But, no worries; we get it. After all, Miranda Lambert has a massive career of her own, and it’s only getting busier, But for all of you Pistol Annies fans out there, you’re in for a treat. According to The Boot, once Miranda wraps-up her On Fire tour, the “Annies” are hittin the road.

“We go out in May and we’ll be doing more amphitheatres and arenas through December. We’ll be working on a new record this fall … I’m so thankful for everything that’s happened to me solo, and now all I can think about is my girls and developing my band.”

No dates have been announced yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

Her girls…………..thought they were the Pistol Annies, not Miranda Lambert and the girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. JJ says:

Amen to that Louise !!!!! With a loud mouth as Miranda has, don’t think I’ll being seeing the Pistols …sorry girls. Just have had enough of Miss Thing and her mouth.

  3. Mytwocents says:

Don’t like Miranda Lambert, she’s got too big for her britches and she is so defensive when something is said about her BUT she is always opening her mouth and inserting her big foot into others business. Hope her star doesn’t last too long.

  4. Heather says:

My friends and I will NOT be seeing her ever again. We went to one of her concerts and she cursed, bragged about drinking and being hungover and was telling what a bad a$$ she is. She may think that is cool but we think it is smarmy and low class and she is not making country music look good. We will never spend another dollar on her concerts or her music. If this is what country music is promoting then I say they need to listen to the younger crowd because we do NOT like this representation. The days of the Waylon. Willie and the George J. drinking and drugs days have passed and we do NOT want them back. Our parents have told us all about the ‘Good Ole Boys” and it is not a pretty picture. It gives country music a bad image and people make fun of us. So if country music wants to promote someone–get someone who at least has some class and manners.

Whoa whoa whoa ladies…All of this has come out of left field for me. I had no idea people were feeling such animosity toward Miranda…Where did all of this come from?

I will admit, I’ve never caught a full Miranda show, I’m going to see her in Nashville though. However, every time I have seen her, I’ve been impressed. She seems to always be able to adjust herself to the environment she’s in.

For example, when seeing her with Dierks at his Miles and Music, she was fun and sweet. Although, I imagine that her solo shows are a bit more rowdy…Which is what I expect. I wouldn’t take a kid to a Miranda show, but I also wouldn’t take a kid to see Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, or even Blake Shelton. I guess I expect their personalities to shine through, and get a little “R” rated.
