Alabama to Return in 2012

Alabama

According to CMT.com, Alabama is back and is will be hitting the road with new music in 2012.

“Alabama’s agreed to do 15-20 shows next year, and possibly if that works out, we will do an overseas tour in 2013,” Cook said. Longtime drummer Mark Herndon was not featured on Paisley’s single and will not be involved in the band’s reunion shows. The three founding members are also planning to record a new album. “We hope to put out some new music,” Cook said. “We’re reviewing stuff right now. We’ll have some studio time to get in and hopefully come out with something better than we have ever had before.”

Are you excited for Alabama to return??

This is great news. I just hope they don’t have to compromise their sound and they can still be the Alabama we all love.

  5. This is wonderful news! I have been a fan for as long as I can remember. I have been a member of the fan club since 1988 to present. I have numerous t-shirts and CD’s that I treasure. My friend and I would go to as many concerts as we would even out of state. I’m so looking forward to hearing new music but love the old stuff too! Can’t wait to see you in 2012 Alabama!

I am so excited! I have seen every one of their concerts in my hometown. When Alabama played our fair, years ago, they use to play two concerts a night. I saw them both. Farewell tour was so sad. WELCOME BACK!
