Tim McGraw took to Skype this week with NFL Network’s Rich Eisen. The pair discussed the impact of the Blind Side, the authenticity of NBC-TV’s Friday Night Lights, what makes a good country song and getting emotional during LSU games.
“You can hear me throughout the house,” McGraw said. “My girls are interested in it now, and my middle daughter Maggie wants to go to LSU.”
McGraw also dished about his new film Dirty Girl, which hits theaters Oct. 7. “I’m only in a small part in the movie, but it’s a pretty pivotal part … It’s about a girl’s journey to find her dad … It’s something that’s dear to me, and something I related to.”
McGraw plays the estranged father “Danny,” and Dwight Yoakam also has a role. The Skype chat re-airs on the NFL Network Friday, Saturday and Sunday (9/30-10/2).
