Darius Rucker Meets Congressman Marsha Blackburn

United States Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) took time away from fighting intellectual property piracy issues yesterday morning to swing by Darius Rucker’s taping of CBS’ The Early Show in New York outside CBS Studios. Rucker was honored to take some time away from taping the summer concert series to visit with Congressman Blackburn, who champions music artist rights on Capitol Hill and has earned a special reputation in Music City for her strong ties to the recording industry and the songwriters and performers who make it great.

Blackburn represents Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District.

Rucker’s performance on The Early Show will air July 6th on CBS. Stay tuned to DariusRucker.com for more information.

Why does Marsha Want Congress to Regulate the Internet? Why not just say NO FEDERAL branch (the FCC and congress and the federal courts included) has any authority to decide or rule on any aspect concerning the Internet?

BUT Marsha Blackburn did Vote FOR: Patriot Act Reauthorization, Electronic Surveillance, Funding the REAL ID Act (National ID), Foreign Intelligence Surveillance, Thought Crimes “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act, Warrantless Searches, Employee Verification Program, Body Imaging Screening, Patriot Act extension; and only NOW she is worried about free speech, privacy, and government take over of the internet?

    Marsha Blackburn is my Congressman.
