Rocker Aaron Lewis isn’t leaving his band, Staind. And, he’s not leaving rock. But, he is going country, at least for a bit. Aaron says if you take all the songs he’s written over the years while sitting on his couch playing acoustic guitar, “you could have put a country accompaniment to them and they would have worked as country songs.” Aaron Lewis is about to put out a single called “Country Boy.”
What are your thoughts on this new country cross-over? Does he stand a chance if he doesn’t plan on staying?

I have been a huge fan of Aaron ever since his local bar shows here in boston.. He has an amazing voice.. and it will be interesting to see how he does in country.. I mean.. it worked wonders for Darius..

I just saw Aaron Lewis at Pechanga on Saturday night and I had no idea he was going country until he sang a song that I recently heard on a country station and thought “Wow, who is this?” Amazing! I think he will do great going country! I love him no matter what!

Ive been a huge staind fan my whole life. im a huge rocker and im not that into country. but its good to hear you branch out a bit. im more glad to hear you arent leaving rock behind though. but still your my main inspiraqtion for singing and i hope you succeed

Just listening to Town Line right now and I had no idea that he went to the country side. At first I was worried but he sounds damn great…as always. Keep it up Aaron!!
