She’s a music legend. And come the fall, Loretta Lynn will get one of those kinds of perks that come to the true legends, a tribute album. The album, called “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” will feature a bunch of country stars performing Lynn’s hits over the years. Among those taking part are Alan Jackson, Sheryl Crow, Carrie Underwood and Lee Ann Womack. Lynn says in a statement that she’s happy that her fellow musicians wanted to cover her music. The tribute project is timed for release in November, and will mark 50 years since Lynn dropped her debut single, “I’m A Honky Tonk Girl.”
