Okay, so last night was CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock!!! What did y’all think?? Who ROCKED your night??? Maybe it was Miranda Lambert?? Or maybe Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band, or Keith Urban nabbed the favorite spot in your heart…We want to know what you thought of the 3 hour special last night on ABC! My personal favorite was Keith Urban (obviously)…I mean, what a way to kick-off the show. I also enjoyed the behind-the-scenes footage of Taylor Swift’s 13 (actually 14.5) hour meet n’ greet. Say what you will about the girl, NO ONE can top her fan interaction and appreciation. I actually get teary watching her with her fans. I also wish Martina McBride would’ve gotten more air time. The lady had a sold-out stadium in awed-silence then brought them to their feet in an amazing standing ovation…

I loved Keiths opening act. Was wonderful. Loved, loved, loved Carries songs. Lady A did a very nice job. Liked Miranda. Didn’t like Kid Rocks at all nor Taylor.
I enjoyed the whole show. I am not a huge Carrie fan, but she did a great job and worked those legs. People are saying how much they disliked Kid Rock and I understand it, but I listened to him way before he dabbled in country. Taylor Swift is a unique talent and I love her songs and fan interaction. Justin Moore did great, but I wish he would of had more airtime. Keith Urban opened the show like no one else can and I can’t wait to see him live again.I did miss Jake Owen on the big stage this year, but hopefully he is on it next year.

OH, I loved Keith Urban’s opening number! It was AWESOME! Keith is a true entertainer in every sense of the word. The show was kind of slow moving but some good moments. Carrie, Tim, Martina all were were good. Taylor’s portion of the show just did not fit in with the rest of the show. Maybe it’s because the only thing country about her is her boots. It was like she was having a sorority party and invited her friends for karaoke. Man, she is such a lousy singer compared to everyone else. I like Miranda’s performance with Dierks & Jamey. She outshined them in my opinion. Rascal Flatts, excuse me, but they acted & looked so gay. I still don’t understand their popularity. I don’t believe I could listen to a whole CD of Gary’s singing! JMO!
RASCAL FLATTS!!!! They are the best country band out there and they don’t ever get the recognition they so deserve!!!
They certainly know how to start a show, Keith urban is the best performer in country music. he is truly talented. His back-up singers Hillary,and the girls from LBT were great too. also loved Blake and Trace.
Whoa, Urban never ceases to amaze. The man truly loves his music and I truly love his music. With Keith Urban on the show, the rest of the entertainers were second class.
Tim McGraw was awesome..on the stage and in person. He is a very sweet man. My all time favorite from the show is Alan Jackson, but Blake Shelton was great to meet too. He signed Mom’s autograph, “I love you, Blake Shelton.”…just like everyone else, I’m sure. Even so, it makes Mom smile to this day. Even though he wasn’t on the show, Chris Young is my favorite singer. He is a great guy!! I really love them all, except Kidd Rock…just not interested.
