This past Saturday Brad Paisley played his first stadium show as a headliner to a sold-out crowd of over 51,000 fans at Gillette Stadium in Boston, MA, home to the NFL’s New England Patriots. The 7th Annual New England Country Festival also included performances by Easton Corbin, Sara Evans, Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean.
After the show Paisley said, “Early on, my career dream was to get to what I call the level of a tour musician – to have a tour bus, the band and I all pile on and go play a show, get back on the bus and go to another city and play. And to think – now here we are playing Gillette Stadium – the same group of guys that use to pile on that one tour bus. It’s beyond my dreams.”

I was there, it was a great show from beginning to end. Easton Corbin only played 6 or so songs but sounded great, I look forward to seeing more of him in New England. Sara Evans sounded as amazing as ever, her new single should be a #1… it’s that good. Darius Rucker was fantastic and really fun to watch. Jason Aldean was beyond amazing, it was my first time seeing him even though I’ve been listening to him for years. I loved every minute of Jason, and can not wait to see him again. This was my 3rd time seeing Brad Paisley, he puts on a killer show each and every time. Overall, it was a fantastic night of great country music!
A review that I read of this show, the reviewer said Sara and Darius were his favorites, but then again he said the show was so loud and there were so many annoying drunks there that he left after only a couple of songs into Brad set. He said, by the time Brad came on he doubted anyone even knew what songs were being song and by whom. Brigid, guess you got a better section than this reviewer.
Glad to hear he sold out the stadium. Wonder if he will book bigger venues now.
Final note….there’s nothing worse at a concert than getting stuck by a bunch of drunks who do nothing but slop their beer all over you, your belongings, and the floor.
I was at the show…it was outstanding! Such a great time. <3
Jimmy Carter, Nashville ET reporter, said this morning on my radio station that Brad was going to have 6 stadium shows next year. He should know, because he follows Brad around like a puppy dog.
Definitely a lot of intoxicated people, but I expect it and have just learned to tune them out. My seats were on the floor, I only saw a few issues around me.
