This weekend, former American Idol alumn Kris Allen opened for Keith Urban at the Indiana State Fair…Keith beckoned Kris back to the stage to sing “Jack and Diane” with him. Take a look.
Love that they have so much fun together on stage. Fans seemed to love it! I love them both…hope they do some kind of music collaboration in the future….I am a Kris Allen fan, never bought any Keith Urban before…but just downloaded a few songs…so hopeful this will work both ways.
I can’t wait to see Kris Allen & Keith Urban in CT. I don’t often listen to country music, but I love Keith Urban. I have serveral CDs. I’m also a Kris Allen fan. I think he’s got a great future in music, a very versatile performer. Kris’ acoustic performances of Maybe and To Make You Feel My Love, as well as, his duets with Keith on Boys Of Summer and Jack & Diane, are a few examples of his versatility. Obviously, Keith Urban has that magical quality as well with his huge crossover music appeal. Kris and Keith are a great fit. Keith’s first love is country; Kris’ is pop/rock. What I think is the draw is their unabashed love for all music and performing. My 17 yr old son, 13 yr old daughter, and husband are looking forward to the concert. Keith and Kris have definte mass appeal and they are so,so FINE!
I just love these two performers together. They have so much charisma on that stage they pull the audience/viewers in to their circle of music. I had never listened to Keith Urban until Kris opened for him the first time. I now own 4 Keith Urban albums! Kris singing Boys of Summer with Keith was the beginning. Starting as a big Kris Allen fan and now fans of them both. They are both a pleasure to listen to!
I’m a big fan of Kris Allen and first saw Keith Urban perform live when he did Kiss A Girl with Kris on American Idol. I’ve since seen Urban perform live with The Eagles. You’re right about this music thing working both ways. I now know what an amazing artist Keith is (especially a fantastic guitarist).
Really disappointed that Keith lowered himself to take that no talent with him on a few shows. Keith, Keith, Keith….you could have had a much better opening act than that snoozer. Maybe he feels sorry for him? Its really disappointing how country music is going so quickly down the tubes. They let anyone in nowadays.

First time I’ve seen Kris Allen and I totally loved the kid. He rocked us into the rest of the night. Keith followed him with a spot on concert as usual. The entire crowd really got into the duet. I wish I could get to one of the next concerts they do together.
Hey “Urban Dude” please stop with your nasty comments about Kris! Do you even have clue about what real talent is? Keith admires Kris and asked to have him join him on some tour dates. Kris has been headlining and opening for many major acts this summer during his own tour btw! And…Keith wants to record with Kris! I LOVE LOVE these two guys! I had the pleasure to see them both together last month in CA and WOW…they both rocked the place. Kris is so talented and Keith’s stage presence is amazing! What a treat to have these two hotties on stage together! Give us more Keith and Kris…”Krieth!”

The wife also explained to me the ways of fandom. She is of the belief that Urban Dude is not even a fan of Keiths. I guess there are people who just go around trashing Kris wherever he’s mentioned on-line. Sad!
I hope that any Kris fans reading here will pay no heed to Urban Dude, as he does not represent country music or Keith fans. Most of us can recognize talent and enjoy a good time. Kris is both.
I absolutely love both Keith & Kris! They are both extremely talented and great guys. Their voices blend so well together and I would love for them to record a song together. I’ve seen both of them perform live and they are both great!

Huge Keith Urban fan here. This is a pleasant surprise. I don’t know much about Kris Allen but they are great together and did the song justice.
