Zac Brown Band Gives Fans the Cream of the Crop in “You Get What You Give”

When the new album from the Zac Brown Band is released in September we’ll hear a little Texas swing, some jam-band jams and lots of harmony along the lines of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and The Eagles.   Zac says the Allman Brothers Band was an influence as well. He also says “You Get What You Give” is a more mature piece than their current mega-hit, “The Foundation.”

The band “writes all the time.” But, he says there’s no way they could record everything they write. So, he promises that “this is the cream of the crop of the last three or four years.” “You Get What You Give” will be available September 21.
