Keith Urban Opts to Celebrate Father’s Day on Australian Time

This year, Keith Urban will celebrate Father’s Day a little differently.  The holiday honoring all dads falls on June 20th this year.  However, the 20th of June is also Keith’s lovely wife, Nicole’s birthday.  Instead of trying to pull double duty, Keith wanted Nicole to embrace the day and celebrate her birthday.  Keith will celebrate father’s day on Australian time in September.

You can see a video of Keith talking about the Father’s Day switch-up on People.com.

Keith met-up with Nicole and his daughter Sunday Rose today at LAX airport.  Nicole and Sunday took a brief trip to Australia to celebrate her sister Antonia’s wedding.  Keith stayed in the states to play an Eagles show in Chicago. According to Twitter reports, Keith provoked a very large sing-a-long of ‘Happy Birthday’ in honor of Nicole.

Keith, you know I love you, but why don’t you ever hold Sunday instead of Nicole’s purse! My husband would have yanked our daughter out of my arms if he hadn’t seen her in several days. Next time grab Sunday and not the purse, ok! Did you give Sunday a kiss?

That’s pretty judgemental. I’m glad to see them reunited. They are a beautiful family.

My goodness, the pictures are a minimeter of a second. We certainly do not see a fraction of what transpires. Do not let pictures influence your thoughts. Keith is a private, shy man; when someone carries a child, they get the pictures taken. Nicole is more famous and internationally known than Keith. Her picture is worth a lot of money.

When my grandsons were Sunday’s age they didn’t want anyone to hold them but their mommy. A lot of kiddos are that way until they’re a little older. You can’t judge what you can’t always see.
