My fav lyric from a Gary song is from “She’s so California” because being born and raised in Cali and now living in Nashville, this song is just so me with places that I have been
The lyric that I like is:
>>>Shes a warm Summer breeze with bleached blonde hair
Like a fine red wine she can take you there<<<<
Come on over drink my wine…waste my candles…waste my time tell me lies I won’t believe…just don’t wake me when you leave…come on over and kick me to the ground…and kiss me when Im down
My fave song on the new album
The song Lyric i like is: “I didnt cry, when Old Yeller died, at least not in front of my friends, tough little boys grow up to be dads they turn into big babies again”..:)
From his song “Tough Little Boys”
“Life aint always beautiful, but its a beautiful ride.”
One of my favorite lyrics is from Tough Little Boys:
“But when tough little boys grow up to be Dads, they turn into
big babies again.”
“Right where, I need to be”
Caramel covered Sunset Sky
“Trying to matter to somebody
Trying to get the time of day
We’re trying to fit into this crazy world
Somehow, somewhere, some way
Hey, that’s all we’re all looking for
It’s never too late you know
To try and matter to the ones that matter most.”
Just turned 50 and this one really fits. As you get older you just want to know you made a difference in this world and at least for the ones you love.
I love the song “No Regrets”. It is Beautiful. His wife would have been so proud. He is a great songwriter & singer and he writes from the heart. One of Country’s best talents hands down.
My favourite lyrics right now are from the song ‘Life Ain’t Always Beautiful’, because they reflect how I feel at this moment.
Life ain’t always beautiful
You think you’re on your way
And it’s just a dead end road at the end of the day
But the struggles make you stronger
And the changes make you wise
And happiness has its own way of takin’ its sweet time
My favorite lyrics is from Gary’s current single “Get Off On the Pain”:
“Cause I love the long shot and the left out lost causes”
I love this line because it reminds me to never give up on myself or on anybody else.
Gary has so many great lyrics but my favorite has to be
“I would’ve lied could’ve cried should’ve tried harder
Done anything to make you stay”
from “Watching Airplanes”!
wow, so many lyrics from GARY music, hmmm let’s see hard to pick only 1,…first of all. I WISH GARY A VERY HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO HIM!!Wonderful Man and Father, Son, Brother, Friend.
I DON’T LOOK BACK
“I don’t look back
One foot in front of the other
On this one way track”
I love Gary Allan. He is the best. He makes you feel the words of the song. My favorite lyric is “I don’t know why I love women” from Get Off On the Pain.
I actually have 2 favorite lines from Gary Allen:
the first is from tough little boys–”when tough little boys grow up to be dads, they turn into big babies again”
the second is from life aint always beautiful-“Life aint always beautiful, but its a beautiful ride.”
I love all of gary’s music though!
Life aint always beautiful but its a beautiful ride!!
I love Gary Allan’s music. My favorite Gary Allan lyric right now is probably: “I ride the wrong road just as fast as I can” from Get Off On The Pain.
from “her man”
Cause I’ve been a wild catter, and a go-go getter
Been an S.O.B. right down to the letter
I’ve had misadventures, I’ve even got pictures
I’m even more than I can stand
But startin` today, all I’m gonna be is her man
played for me, sang to me after i caught him cheating…he went to work the next day to break it off with her and i got a call at lunch that he was leaving me for her!
My favorite lyrics are from the song “Kiss Me When I’m Down.” I heard him sing it LIVE last week when I saw him on the Brooks & Dunn tour. It’s such a great song, with great lyrics and I hope Gary releases this as a single.
Come on over
Drink my wine
Waste my candles
Waste my time
Tell me lies I won’t believe
Just don’t wake me when you leave
Come on over
Kick me to the ground
Kiss me when I’m down
My favorite Gary Allan lyrics come from ‘Right Where I Need To Be’:
“Boss man says my big promotion’s on the line
He says that’s right where I need to be”
This has always been my favorite part in this song. I just love the way he sings those lyrics!!!
Like it’s a bad thing, I don’t know about you, but I was put here to live and love. So what if I don’t do it like everybody else does.
Well let me just say picking one line was difficult..I’m a huge Gary fan so here it is my favorite lines
“But the struggles make you stronger
And the changes make you wise”
Life aint always beautiful, but it’s a beautiful ride”
So, what if I dont do it like everybody else does
From “Like it’s a Bad Thing”
“Right where, I need to be” sice I just moved back to Nashville less than 2 months ago
My favorite lyric from a Gary Allan song is from “We Touched The Sun”:
“even if it’s not forever, we were meant to be together, even if it’s only for a while…”
It reminds me of my ex boyfriend who I miss dearly every day and who I wish was still a part of my life.
