Joe Nichols Bows Out Of “Pure Country” on Broadway

Joe Nichols would have loved to made his Broadway debut with the stage musical, “Pure Country,” based on the 1992 George Strait movie. But, since it’s been delayed, he’s had to move on. Joe says he “had a good block of six months” to devote to the show but “that window has passed.” He says it’s disappointing because he “wanted to be part of the show, big-time.” But he says he’s looking at it as “one door closes, another one opens.” He predicts the show will happen. It just won’t happen with him.
