If there’s one thing about Gretchen Wilson’s fans, it’s that they’re honest. Gretchen says it’s easy to pick songs her fans will relate to, because they’re honest and tell her what they like.

She says “the best research you can do is to ask your audience. If you play two or three songs, ask them which one was their favorite, which one was their second favorite.” She says her fans give her a lot of feedback. So, she says she kind of knows “what they’re thinking and what they want and where they’re going, and it makes for a fun live show.”
